With these plugs it takes forever to thread the wires through the near invisible holes in the loading carriage. Having a separate piece that you have to individually thread the wires through is the worst thing to ever happen to an RJ45 plug. I used to be able to arrange the wires in my fingers, slip them into the plug and crimp - 15 seconds max. I will never buy these again. By the way - I tried to rate this item with 0 stars, but Amazon would not let me.
If you get any other kind without the wire guides included with these, you will be doing yourself a dis-service. The wire guides make cable assembly a breeze with these. Buy them now. :)
are by far the best. I have used RJ45 connectors from EZRJ45, Pan Pacific, and Ideal. These connectors from Micro Connectors, Inc. I had to rebut several failed EZRJ45 connectors with these and each one worked the first time. It's hard to make a bad or incorrect connection with the wire spacer that comes with the connector.
I like the small "seperator" piece. it works great in keeping the wires seperated and in order while assembling.
